The lessons are, however, far more prescient, as David Lee Morgan talks of fascism being on the rise, warning that the lessons of the past being lost to us are dangerous&#8230; <br><br>Morgan knows his material very well, but aside from the history lesson, his words land. There is a simplicity to the rhythm of the poetry in a conversational style, but at the same time it draws things together in repetition, which allows you to muse, as he has&#8230;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">This is a superior poet with the ability to engage a reluctant audience&#8230; creatively and with great skill. A simple performance with a complex subject matter&#8230;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Sometimes you have to pick a side; it is quite clear the side on which Morgan sits, and the one in which we are invited to join him.
